September 10, 2023 - Still in great shape. Savoury with great length. It has a very dry finish though which detracts a little.

July 16, 2023 - Such an enjoyable wine. Still full bodied with spice and licorice in the back palate. Berries and chocolate hanging around front and back. Lovely.

April 6, 2023 - Dark fruits, herbal, star anise and Chinese medicine notes on the nose. Elegantly textured on entry and medium-plus bodied, lovely sprightly acid spine that is refreshing and provides a counterpoint to the gravelly, herbal dark fruit palate. Reminds me of those dark intense pork bone herbal soups in Asia.
March 18, 2023 - Drinking very well now. Complex, but elegant. Blackberry, violets, mint, hint of licorice and spice. Nice balanced acidity in the finish which is dry and lingering.
October 15, 2020 - A great bottle. Red bricking colour, spice and leather nose, smooth long palate with coffee grounds and liquorice hints. Fruit sweetnes rounds the palate.

August 23, 2019 - Medium ruby. Diffused notes of olives, cloves, red fruits. Medium plus bodied, sprightly acid spine, chalky and firm tannins on the midpalate, juicy red fruits with an Italianate savoury twist.
