November 28, 2019 - Not bad but a little disappointing based on the price paid and the vineyard it came from. not exceptional. Can think of many wines in my cellar that would have blown this wine away for 70% of the price. Only ten years old and in the magnum format, expected to have my socks knocked ofF. Still fruit flavors and not quite to the earthy tone level of an old wine.

March 6, 2019 - This was excellent. At 10 years of age, the oak has almost completely receded, and smoked herbs, cassis, plums and minerals are now front and center. On the palate, there is a medium- to full body, red fruits and minerals galore, and very good acidity and refinement. Very enjoyable now, but will undoubtedly last for some time. 14.7% ABV. 94.

July 23, 2012 - Huge dark fruits, cherry and blackberry. I found the wine still balanced with good acidity and tannins. While i am not sure the qpr ratio is there as much as others...its a fantastic wine. Will try another bottle next summer.

April 21, 2012 - Amazingly aromatic nose, with loads of black cherry and a hint of spice. Black cherry and spice notes echo on the palate as well. Very complete from the attack, through the mid-palate, and on to the long finish. Amazing superfine texture. Truly a great wine.
