  October 17, 2020 - Muted floral fall aromas with clean fresh hints of soap. Juicy but linear and at this point seems a little flat and flabby. Seems to be beyond its drinking window although there are still some tannins and acidity. If I were to rate this wine today, I would give it an 88.

  November 4, 2016 - Masculine and angular wine needing at least an hour decant at this point. After an hour, blossomed into a firm, structured Cab, probably better with food, showing lots of character. Love Venge.

  January 2, 2015 - Tasted along side a 2008 Rivers Marie Cab. The Venge had less presence of oak and more structured tannins. As a result, the Venge was a better pair with prime rib. This wine is starting to develop nicely.
