October 6, 2023 - I was expecting something past its prime, but was very surprised to get a vibrant wine instead. The wine is deep ruby with only the slightest whisper of a hint of orange/brown on the rim. The nose is full of soy sauce, mushroom, leather, blackberry, black plum, cedar, licorice, and vanilla. Most of the same notes repeated on the palate, but with a briny olive note as well. Absolutely delicious!

February 1, 2021 - If never had aged Syrah, so I don't know what it was like when younger nor what age has done to change it. It is still full of fruit and tastes like high quality eastern WA/Rocks syrah that is ten years younger. Very delicious on its own.

April 12, 2014 - Still an excellent wine, peaking now, this won’t improve with additional cellar time.
