October 25, 2019 - Past it's prime but still good. I am not going to fault the wine because I stored it too long. This is an awesome Merlot. One of my favorites.

January 22, 2017 - When first opened was a bit harsh but after 30 min decant and some vigorous swirling the wine softened considerably. Plum, floral nose with lavender, cherry and some faint tomato (I was looking for that flavor given my initial impression in the tasting room) evolving on the palate. Still some grainy tannin so probably could last a few more years. Much softer mouthfeel and better flavor than earlier.

February 10, 2012 - light and drinkable, seemed hot at first, but actually 14%. Flat nose and palate, fruit flavors are currants and raisin, not terribly complex or thought provoking.

January 14, 2012 - Jammy and lots of oak. Soft tannins. Overpriced.

December 29, 2011 - Nice, easy drinking wine, but expected a bit more complexity and structure for the price.
