March 11, 2017 - Nice dry and fruity Riesling. Citrus notes and some minerality. Bright wine.

February 20, 2016 - I reckon this is such an underrated wine. For me, this is in the zone now, still has some freshness of its younger days but that has developed into more rounded complexity and texture. The up front zestiness has given way to more mid and back palate flavours as well. Under screw cap so should hold well enough for some time but I like this window personally.

November 4, 2014 - Showing some development now, a hint of kero, lemon sorbet but probably a bit out of balance with very vibrant acidity. There is a softness now to the fruit that is a bit lost because of the acid.

February 16, 2013 - For all its annual praise, this wine was very boring, lemony, and highly acidic. Lacked balance, or any nuance.

August 13, 2012 - Pretty lemon color, and it shows a bit of a spritz upon unscrewing the cap and pouring a glass. The aromas on this wine are sharp, like freshly a medley of freshly cut citrus fruit and Granny smith apple. On the palate, the first thing I notice is the sharpness of the acid. There’s also a thickness to this wine that comes from the higher alcohol. While it does have a lot of acid, the sheer weight of the wine is more evident than, say, a Mosel riesling with 9% alcohol. Very intense and focused, the wine has a brisk sense of minerality throughout. Lots of margarita salt and key lime flavors dominate the palate, with hints of petrol and green tea on the finish. This wine is so big and bright now, and I actually think this wine could use a few years to settle down a bit. Wet stones and lime zest tingle on the finish. 88 points, for now. But at $14, this is a serious buy for anyone who likes tanginess and fruit in their rieslings, but not the sweetness. Bone dry. I’m so used to drinking Mosel rieslings, whose varying amounts of residual sugar add a sense of balance to the searing acidity.

June 22, 2012 - Vibrant lemon / lemon curd, candied green apple, and of course, very fresh. On the palate fruity but back with minerality. Very tasty indeed. Incredibly priced at $17 or so.
