December 20, 2020 - Floral, dried herb and licorice aromas with ripe raspberry and blackberry flavors. Tannins firm but fine. Long finish.

November 3, 2018 - Decanted for 30 minutes and aromas showed dried herbs, especially rosemary, with violets. Flavors were raspberries and black cherries with hints of leather and licorice. Fruit ripe and tannins soft. I think it's in a ideal place.

June 23, 2017 - Decanted for about an hour. Wine in a perfect place now with plump and ripe raspberry, blackberry flavors, a dash of pepper and leather. Aromas of dried herbs and lavender. Just a well balanced wine with voluptuous mouthfeel and length.

January 9, 2017 - I aerated this wine and let it open for about 30 minutes, but it wasn't enough. It finally showed its colors at the last glass. Still, the fruit was fading and a little tired. Dried herbs on the nose and black cherry, raspberry flavors on the palate with hints of rosemary and licorice. Nary a tannin left, but it still has decent acidity and finish. More elegant than I remembered on release.

October 17, 2016 - Opened for an hour and consumed over 3 days. Ripe blackberry, rasp berry flavors, fading and somewhat dried fruit, floral/violet nose. Browning color.
