  August 6, 2023 - Decanted two hours. Opened up nicely. Dark fruit i did notice some mint also as other notes have said. Tannins still present. Did a blind taste with st pierre 2009 and cliff lede poetry 2007 old vs new world cabs and this was on the fence between the two as has nice fruit and some earthiness

  October 8, 2022 - Ten years since my last try and this hasn't lost a step. Did not take detailed note, but this was a memorable wine. I recall a bit of mint that my son brought up which was spot on.

  May 14, 2022 - Slightly closed on the nose, dark berries, mint, wood, masking an attractive bouquet. Very round, lush palate with tons of sweet berries balanced by quite a strong attack of mint, sweetness, acidity and tannins very typical for the 2006 vintage in Italy. Long finish, slightly drying also on the second night. Quite heavy duty, impressive, only slightly lacking elegance for a higher rating.
