  December 13, 2020 - Drank at Thanksgiving. Still an amazing wine. Color shows brown aging. Cedar, plum, and vanilla on the nose. Nice mouthfeel with cassis, vanilla, leather-notes, and plum. Tannins still present, but they fade in the glass. One more bottle left.

  May 24, 2017 - Amazing wine. Cassis, plum, cherry. There is still some tannic structure holding it all together. I need to save one of my last 2 bottles for my eldest's 21st birthday.

  January 21, 2017 - Birthday Wines; 1/20/2017-1/21/2017 (at Home): Cassis nose - balanced with dark fruit at the back of the palate. Medium finish
  
  On day two, the pruney nose comes through strongly. A lovely mid-palate but short finish. Definitely finished above its expected grade.

  January 20, 2017 - Very surprised with this. Medium garnet red with slight bricking. Slight stinkiness on the nose with a little greenery. Some air brings out rich plums. Moderate tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. Lots of dark cocoa, stewed dark fruits and cherries. Medium plus finish. Drink now.

  May 29, 2016 - Still a great wine. Lots of cassis, both on bouquet and palate. Plum, cherry, still with ample tannins which provide good structure. Pretty amazing, 14 years later.
