March 25, 2016 - Agree with the comments in the tartness. It's pleasant though not necessarily all that complex, won't benefit from any more aging.

March 8, 2016 - Poor showing. Tart. Cloudy. Little fruit. Short finish. No body.

April 10, 2015 - Several years of cellar time has done no good for this wine. The fruit has receded, and is now quite tart, and there is not much to back it up. Disappointing.

May 6, 2014 - Very pure, bright red fruited Chambollesque Pinot on both nose and palate. Some heat begins to emerge as this airs and warms, but otherwise I was wishing I had more. If I did, I'd be torn between wanting more complexity to go with the brilliant purity of fruit (more age) and wanting to catch this before it loses its brightness and shows even more alcohol (less age). Glad I caught this now to see both sides. And, if this is a taste of things to come, very glad I have a ton of AHF single vineyard gems to savor as they develop. Quite nice actually, with crystalline purity of detailed fruit.

July 4, 2013 - Quite distinctve light, bright ruby in the glass, lighter bodied, plums and red berries, not super complex, but delicious easy drinking summer red I would drink now
