November 5, 2022 - Opened an hour or so before drinking. Did not decant.
Red fruit (cherry, raspberry), nice floral - rose, nice spice, slight earth, really nice fruit. Bright. Good acidity. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable.

January 31, 2019 - Roses and raspberry with floral notes more dominant; smooth and rather subtler than expected, tart fruits present, a lengthier finish but quite mild though very pleasing, especially with food

May 31, 2017 - P n p table side. Med bodied mature Barolo, in a good place tonight. Red fruits, flowery nose, some earth. No mistaking this for anything but a Nebbiolo. Went Will with delicate Italian fare. Not sure time will do much for this. Drink now or hold for short term.

April 14, 2013 - This took quite a while to get going in decanter, probably peaking after 1.5 hours and falling off around 4 hours. At its best, roses, creosote - actually picked up some cigarette smoke. A friend compared this to a "French whore" - a bawdy personality with the scent of roses and cigarettes! It's an apt description. A little lean on the palate. Drinking now and doesn't seem like it's holding anything in reserve.

December 21, 2012 - Very light red, not a lot going on here. Some light raspberry and tar, but really washed out, disappointing for the year. Tried the next day, still holding, not oxidized, but no better. I am hoping closed.
