April 24, 2021 - Drinkable, but not very good. Has an odd astringent flavor to it.
February 24, 2019 - No es Buena. Some leakage past cork indicated, but don't think it impacted the wine. Very light and watery...almost as if it was colored water. Sadly one of the worst Spanish wine experiences I have had. Will have no guilt pouring anything unfinished at the end of the night down the drain.

November 28, 2016 - mild nose, cherry, very easy drinking rioja tempranillo wine. Still good, but suggest drinking up.
August 13, 2016 - Decanting improved this wine. Ripe cherry and raspberry flavors with obvious vanilla oak notes.

December 4, 2015 - This bottle was lovely, maybe the best of the case. At the deceased Bar Basque in NYC this was $48 -- a vastly under-rated restaurant, with an amazing chef -- and I paid $9 for it in L.A. (The restaurant wholesale price was $12.) Someone explain all this to me.
IAE, drinking beautifully now -- seamless, smooth, in balance, good structure. Don't wait any longer, based on this bottle.
