April 24, 2018 - Disappointing Lange pinot noir. Missing the blended fruit that I have come to expect from the winery. Oh well, maybe it was just this bottle.

February 2, 2015 - Nice cherry nose with some black pepper, taste as well, still fullness to the fruit but rounded body, decent length on the finish. Holding up better then I expected, delicious over all.

October 24, 2014 - Same notes as previous. Served with salmon with citrus, roasted cauliflower, celery, and pomegranate seeds.

June 24, 2014 - Upon opening it had a little heat, which went away after an hour. Cherry, earthy, green paper(?). The wine is a little too short at finish.

October 18, 2013 - This would be easily confused with a California pinot, pinot funk and cherry cola nose, bold flavors, medium weight, dark cherries, smoky caramel notes, some acidity and a touch of lingering heat on the finish. Has a tiny bit of tannins that make me think this might have better future. Much much better than the regular WV bottle.

July 7, 2012 - tasty, but excessive heat on palate. Somewhat ordinary, nothing exciting.

June 27, 2012 - Restaurant purchase from memory. Unscrewed and poured. Color good, nose good and tasty fruit dense palate. Easy to drink and enjoyable, but also has proper structure. Would definitely buy/drink again

May 13, 2012 - This is one of my favorite wines for the price. Classic cherry kirsch flavors and an excellent long and clean finish.

April 27, 2012 - Tobacco on the nose, black cherry on the tongue. We let it breathe for 20 minutes before the first taste. After 30-35 minutes, the edges were smoothed out and it became very enjoyable. Not as earthy as many Oregon Pinots, and it works. Give it some time in the cellar and you'll have a solid Pinot Noir, especially at this price.
