June 21, 2013 - Quintessential Aussie Red...lots of big berry and cherry fruit and vanilla on the nose, but not much complexity on the palate. This is a drink now wine and I doubt will improve with age. It should appeal to those who love fruit forward reds.

January 20, 2013 - Strong Cab , very dark colour with a big nose and a big flavour . Next time will try a longer decanting period.

December 12, 2012 - Modern, hedonistic, young and sweet - a wine made in a very "international" style. Not usually my thing, but this was actually pretty nice. It had a rather attractive nose, with perfumed wafts of violets, sweet notes of blackcurrant and blueberry jam, and then just a hint of earth and meat chased by a little lift of eucalyptus and spice at the fringes of the bouquet. The palate was very young and tremendously primary, with lots of sweet, juicy gobs of blueberry and blackcurrant flavours seasoned with some chocolate and spice. It was nicely balanced and very drinkable though, with fine, velvety tannins and fresh acidity carried it through a meatier midpalate and into a long, fresh finish seasoned with powdery spice and fresh herbs. A very pleasant, even enjoyable wine - drinking well early, and especially well-paired with a meaty steak. A pretty good effort.

June 19, 2012 - Clear, medium ruby. Pronounced aroma of spices, red fruits and oak. Dry, high acid, medium-high tannins, medium body, intense flavor of black fruit coupled with spices and oak. Medium finish. Easy drinking. Good buy for mass drinking
