December 17, 2023 - Cork broke but the day was saved by an Ah-So. Medium ruby, decanted for 45 minutes. Perfumed nose explodes from the glass. Elegant with a long finish. For my taste, this is now fully mature but in no danger of going over the hill. Harley 1199 tag, you are up.

May 20, 2022 - Second of six. Bottle opened two hours in advance. Since 2016 we have been waiting. The succulent thing has arrived. At last. Long pristine cork. Clear ruby colour with orange edges. Showed fleshy, plenty of iron ore and cinnamon and clove on the nose. Also thyme and rosemary. Integrated wood. Classy and fragant. On the palate offered a nice central acidity giving persistence and taste. Wine of medium-bodied with a tamed tannins. Rather warm than alcoholic. Delicious final. According to my taste, undoubtedly the best is yet to come. Suffocate this verve is my next stop. No rush at all. Your turn, Sonoma Duck.

Tu turno, Sonoma Duck.

July 19, 2021 - This wine keeps improving and has now hit the very enjoyable stage. Medium ruby, nose of forest floor and berries. Very mouth coating and a long long finish.

December 4, 2020 - This wine just keeps getting better with time. Last night popped and poured. medium ruby, rich nose, long finish and still on the upswing in my opinion.

May 3, 2020 - Initial pnp nose was dark fruited leaning black cherry, crushed rock, baking spice. Palate was similar, on the lighter side, edgy acid, clean and shorter finish. Initial impression 92. After a few hrs open this changes quite substantially, nose is more sour cherry and cranberry, palate is mostly tart cranberry, some dried cherry, seems to be in a bit of an awkward place, finish and palate seem to broaden quite a bit. I am really unsure where this is headed, this bottle was much better than last which makes me think prior bottle was cooked. On day 2 has developed a bit more and seemed to come together on the palate. Will wait a bit for my last bottle. 90-92
