May 25, 2016 - Dark red. Aromas of red fruit. Medium bodied, smooth, minimal tannins. Flavors of red cherries. It was very easy to drink. I was surprised it was as good as it was given its age and expected drinking window. Went well with a Dijon crusted roasted chicken dinner.

June 15, 2013 - ...similar to the Dec 2012 tasting except it was smoother, easy to drink and had more of the chocolate cherry flavors developing. This was very good wine to drink alone.
