    November 25, 2021 - Decanted and drank over the course of 2 hours side by side with the 2010 Southing. Initially and throughout the evening, the 2009 was more tannic than the 2010, but had much more tertiary flavors. This wine still has enough left if you want to wait and see how the tertiary aromas and flavors continue to develop. For what it's worth, everyone at the Thanksgiving feast preferred the 2010.

    October 26, 2021 - Not as robust as in the past. Elegant but a bit faded. The fruit is still there, with a smidge of jam and spice. The cork disintegrated on opening, which may have played a role.

    August 25, 2021 - The last bottle we tried was corked. The one shared last night was tasting great.

    September 16, 2020 - From Magnum. Initial fruit has subsided and this Pinot seems to be drinking in a middle ground now with some earth, spice, and rustic elements prevailing at this time. A somewhat masculine Pinot but still maintaining some elegance. A nice, mature, Cali Pinot Noir.
