February 17, 2019 - Wow. What an amazing expression of Sangiovese. Full mid palate that just coats your mouth. Tastes of bing cherries, violets, and dark chocolate. Finish lasts a full 35 seconds. Can only imagine what it will be like in 5-7 years, as I don't think I will be able to keep my hands off of my remaining bottles that long.

December 8, 2018 - Incredible Brunello. This wine was very highly rated (WS97) and does not disappoint. Great balance of tannins, fruit and body, with classic color profile. This has to be one of the best bottles I've ever had, of anything.

October 27, 2018 - Splash decanted 30 minutes before dinner. A slight roasted quality to the nose. Plenty of ripe fruit. On its drinking plateau, not close to falling apart, but I doubt it will improve, so drink up!

October 15, 2018 - Absolutely gorgeous wine. Some forest, licorice, a touch of mint, and blackberries on the nose. In the mouth there is amazingly concentrated fruit with a dark side, darker than what I'm used to in Brunello. Long finish, good acidity and some fine tannin. I would have a hard time naming this as a brunello if I were to taste it blind, perhaps because I'm not use to this style. In any case it's amazing and I wish I had bought more.

October 6, 2018 - Wonderful crimson brown fall leaf color that clung to glass when swirled; nose of tea leaves and cherry which matched palate; very soft tannins ; long fruity finish
