November 11, 2017 - Festival of Alex - Grand Birthday Dinner: Pineapple, lime, orange, mandarin, lemon and grapefruit on the nose. The palate has a real sense of delicacy and poise. Tangy acidity lifts the wine up with the sweetness siting in the background. Very good length, this is still very primary. I thought I'd be blown away by this, it didn't get there but was still excellent - perhaps more time will give it that extra interest to take it to the next level.

August 12, 2017 - Appearance: Bright and clear, it is medium gold color, with watery rims and legs.
Nose: Clean, with pronounced intensity aromas of citrus fruit of lime and orange, stone fruit of apricot and peach, tropical fruit of pineapple, maturity notes of honey, floral notes of honeysuckle, mineral notes of stone. The wine is developing.
Palate: Sweet with high acidity, the wine has low alcohol, medium (-) body and pronounced intensity flavors of citrus fruit of lemon, stone fruit of apricot, tropical fruit of pineapple, maturity notes of honey, floral notes of honeysuckle, mineral notes of stone. The wine has a long finish.
Conclusion: Exceptional quality German Riesling eiswein, with phenomenal intense aromas of good concentration, the wine is simply out of this world on the palate, with the balance of acidity of sweetness so well-structured that you would feel everything is so harmonized. The flavors are concentrated, with also a very long finish. One of the best sweet wines I have ever tasted, it is ready to drink now though can further develop for another 15-20 years.

May 3, 2017 - Nose seemed faint and oxidised, with notes of lemon, pineapple, and blue cheese (gorgonzola piccante). There is no oxidation evident on the palate, which has a fantastically powerful lemon cordial flavour, with notes of thyme, blue cheese, and jasmine. Outrageously powerful sweetness, perfectly balanced by equally-powerful acidity.

December 4, 2016 - Pale green gold. Intense nose of fresh limes, white peach and touches of cumquat. Palate intense and linear without the complexity of a good year Auslese or higher. Great length and balance with plenty of grip. This was in ' Lang Goldkapsel ' format.
