  November 19, 2020 - My last bottle, and much better than the previous showing. This is muted compared to how it showed when young, but still lovely. Smooth and easy drinking now, there is still a strong note of Nicoise olives, but the blackberry fruit is more tame. I really enjoyed this, but it's likely time to drink these if you are still holding any. I've been reluctant, as this bottling is now all-but-impossible to get, and prices have increased drastically when it can be found (from most retailers anyway). Glad I held this though, as it was still quite pleasant. Have 2010-2015 remaining which all helps me wait to dig into the St. Jo's.

  January 2, 2020 - Something not quite right here. Showing a hint of age. Maybe to be expected from this wine at this age, but a recent 2010 was excellent. Will drink my last bottle sooner rather than later.

  January 26, 2018 - A beautiful Ile de Feray, everything is well proportioned and in balance. Cool Syrah with marks of meat broth, bacon, pepper and earth. Lively, elegant dark-hued fruit. Still young at its heart, no rush.
