October 12, 2019 - A wow wine experience. Fruit dominates but there is a backbone. Wish I had a gas! Fantastic as a sub for a young Bordeaux with braised duck sumo.

October 1, 2016 - Excellent deep fruits with a touch of alcohol

September 6, 2015 - One of my favorite profiles - blackberry, black currant, some red fruit thrown into the mix. Cacaco/coffe notes, fine-grained tannins, good lift from the acidity. Really a nice Merlot, lucky to have a year where it got bottled on its own.

August 7, 2014 - The color is dense and opaque, garnet colored with ruby edges. The smells are candied cherry, bright red fruit, floral notes, red licorice, sweet raspberry tea, prune, and chalky notes. The tastes are sweet cherry, flowers, sweet raspberry, spicy notes, minty notes, herbs, and white pepper. The finish is both sweet and sour with fruit tannins that are fine grained.
