February 10, 2012 - Light red color...surprisingly so. Clove, cherry and touch of rose on the nose. Light, bright plum, cherry and strawberry on the palate. Not a big fan of NZ Pinot Noir but this is nicely balanced and drinking well.

June 8, 2011 - (13%) Light on entry this one is juicy and upfront showing bright cherry and wild strawberry flavors. Orange rind notes emerge on a "heavier" mid-palate along with a clove spice note before a soft, tangy tannic, sour fruit finish that while a bit short is still nice as it fades away. A bit one dimensional and on the simple side but certainly well made. Pair it with some summer grilling and your likely to enjoy...

May 30, 2011 - Well balanced fruity pinot from New Zealand. Medium purple color, notes of lighter red fruits...cherry and raspberry on the palate. Nose was light, not as floral as I would have expected. Good summer barbecue wine.

March 26, 2011 - Ruby-colored, light medium bodied, bright forward medley of sweet tangy fruits - cherry, wild strawberry, plum, spice and dusty rose flavours with soft silky tannin on a short finish.

February 11, 2011 - Light red with bluish hint. Nose of spice and red berry. Black cherry and clove. Cool forest sense too. Nice wine. Light body. Aromatic rather than fruit driven.

January 26, 2011 - Well made pn. Good, light color and medium body. Refreshing at 13% abv but loads of spice, strawberry, twigs and clove on the nose. Still a young wine showing mostly fruit and green stem on the palate. This wine might benefit by a year or two in the cellar as it isn't giving up too much palate wise now. Tannins are gripping which tells me there is still time in this bottle.

October 9, 2008 - funky and interesting. I served it too cold and when it warmed up there was a bit of complexity and something different in this rose. Nice bright colour, strawberries and more on the palate, I could image it with wild roast pork, mmmmm would buy again
