July 9, 2017 - This wine is a bit light on the scale of Inglenook Cabs. It still has a decent tannic structure that has smoothed out nicely and has left it with a silky texture. Aromas of cassis, tobacco, spice, and oak greet you on the nose. Followed by flavors of ripe red cherries, currant, and white pepper. It still has a decent finish, but short for a Cab. I have one bottle left in my cellar, and I'll be drinking it soon.

March 2, 2016 - Decent, not spectacular. Certainly not in the same class as the 2007 Cask Cab I had last week. Medium purple color, short finish, not extremely rich or memorable.

February 29, 2016 - I agree with a previous post, that this is thinner than others I've tried from the same producer. As usual, the main flavor is of fresh sweet fruit. I had expected more from the magical 2007 vintage. Perhaps 2007 was not the best in Rutherford. Still an enjoyable wine.

September 5, 2015 - Deep red center, red rim with some signs of age.
Creamy cassis and black raspberry, touch of graphite,
Smooth, plums and kirsch, good supporting tannins still, very good length with darker fruits.
Well crafted Napa Cab, drinking well now.

April 20, 2014 - Very dark red with a garnet hue. Decanted for 1hr, drank 2 glasses over 90 minutes. This has an enticing nose, offering up scents of cassis, plum, red berries, fine tobacco, dust, and spice. The palate is quite soft in texture, silky, fresh red berries, cassis, blue fruits, dusty tannins, graphite, tobacco, full bodied, well integrated with a medium plus finish. This is the first of my single lot Cabs that I have opened and I have to say I was pleased; very classy and finessed.
