January 22, 2019 - (Disgorged in spring of 2007, 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay)
Nice yellow colour with a stream of very fine bubbles. Nose is a bit muted at start, but with some time in the glass it opens up showing incipient maturity with exotic fruit, cream and a touch of honey. Palate starting to show some dried fruit, and with a very expressive, but short finish showing a mix of dried fruit and a smooth bitterness. A bit short in the beginning, but with time in the glass it opens up with a smoother and rounder feeling that was very nice. It’s been five years since last time I had this cuvée and it’s showing a nice maturity at twenty years and the bitterness has toned down over the years and it feels more balanced.
    🍾Probably best 2013-2028

December 31, 2015 - Full, mature, deep and bit rustic nose. Ripe apple, dark chocolate and some hints of roasted hazelnuts. Appealing.
Fat, broad, rich and roasted palate. Good acidity stands up. Very mature and harmonius. Good concentration. Balanced freshness and quite long finish.
Mature champagne-champagne that should be consumed now. Surprisingly fresh, though. Better than expected.

January 30, 2015 - Yellow colour with fine and tiny bubbles.
Incipient maturity on the nose showing yellow apples, marzipan and nuts. Nice glass development. Nice fresh fruityness on the palate with a nice licuorice root finish. Too much quinine gives a bit too much bitterness for me.

Matched the lobster soup perfectly though.

January 6, 2013 - Nice and mature nose with apples and earth. The structure is not bad but it lacks a bit of fruit and length. Ok but not more.

July 31, 2011 - No apples this time. This one showed all the characteristics that I had expected first time around. The PN component is dominating this Champagne, just as it should in Bouzy.

July 26, 2011 - The best with this wine was the nose. The looks and taste reminded more of French Apple Cider than Champagne. I will have to try another bottle shortly to see if this was an isolated happening. I have always liked this producer so I'm hoping it was just bad luck in a bottle. It rarely happens that my wife declines a Champagne refill but this was one of those rare moments.

April 8, 2009 - Well balanced ch. Lemon and toast with a rather bitter grapefriut ending. Yet it didn´t made me sing. A bit dull. Had expected more from this one. Maybe took it too early.

April 22, 2008 - Excellent stuff. Even better with around 3 years of sitting in the cellar. Bright and lifted in the back with tangerine, nuts, bread dough dominating the mid-palate. Seriously good stuff.

December 5, 2007 - Mature on the nose with tones of minerals and ocean and with hints of fruity sweetness. Developed and well-balanced on the palate with taste of honey, minerals and a salty long after taste.
