September 28, 2012 - A small Columbus gathering (Nick C's House): Unique aromas up front of beeswax/lanolin, followed by bell pepper. The palate was more typical of NZ this time yet still distinct, with notes of grass and citrus along with jalapeno pepper. There was also a flavor/texture from either a bit of oak or malolactic fermentation, I couldn't place which but again unique for a NZ SB. Crisp acidity/long finish. Everyone enjoyed it.
