April 13, 2020 - I don't really get it. Big fruits, lots of funk, not a lot of balance.

May 23, 2016 - Rich and full. Intense and funky. It falls 1 point for maybe a little TOO much barnyard for my taste.

February 7, 2015 - P&p. Smells like fresh tart red fruit, with spice, menthol, and light underbrush and earth. On the palate it is overly tannic, but tasty. Sappy, tart, raspberry-ish red fruit, fairly intense. Good fresh acidity. Just a touch of underbrush/twigs. Lingering spice and stony mineral earth. Good stuff!

April 13, 2012 - On day two, even better. More of the pronouced aromatics of the Bois Rouge, but also just concentrated across the palate with raspberry and blueberry fruit yet only 12.5% listed alc. Hints of brett and VA and all the better for it. Massive amounts of sediment. What is not to love?

April 12, 2012 - Well she took five hours but her she blows! I think many years ahead. Rich and full across the palate, tannic and bitter in that wonderful cabernet franc way.
