Community Tasting Notes 3

April 27, 2015 - A very pleasant wine to drink.

Sealed under stelvin, the colour has started going golden.
Nose and palate dominated by citrus and sherbet. Acid still there and in balance.

December 31, 2008 - As noted, petrolly, minerals, very austere. A decent wine but a little too technical and not as charming as the Alsatians whose style they seem to be trying to emulate. Perfectly nice as a food wine though, and I'd certainly drink it again without complaint.

December 29, 2008 - Bright light colour, green tinge. Wet stone nose, hints of petrol, possibly some gooseberry! Palate is austere and a little flat/green in the middle although picks up with a good minerally finish.

The mid palate and nose had filled out with limes and a hint of lemon on day two. In actual fact, the wine was a step up from yesterday all round - 90 points so I'll give an average of 89.
