  May 19, 2017 - Colour doesn't show the age. High acidity at first, but the acidity faded after 4 hours of decanting. Fantastic nose of red and black forest fruit, some vanilla and tones of forest floor. A fruit-bomb on the palate nicely balanced with gentle softened acidity and some remaining tannins. Still great potential of 10 years +. This is a great wine!

  March 10, 2017 - From a perfectly stored bottle. Just a bit thin... not a lot of body or midpalate... somewhat clipped. Nice nose of black cherry and cedar... tannins are resolving but the acidity is still a bit too high toned and present for me- not "smooth"; it's pretty good certainly not great... comparatively speaking a nice Paso Robles cabernet- so clearly not worth the price.
