October 12, 2017 - I have been drinking it as an aperitif over the last few nights (got to love those screwcaps) the wine has not changed since I last tried a bottle in June. White flowers on the nose, the palate is pear and melon with hints of oak. As some one else wrote it is more Burgundian in style than California.

June 13, 2017 - Interesting wine - white flowers on the nose, the palate is a cross between apricot and melon. A nice finish. Enjoyable and a great QPR.

August 6, 2015 - Consistent with my detailed notes from 2013, but just wanted to second tomherer's comment about taster variation vs. bottle variation, as mine have all been consistent after 6 bottles. It's a bigger style white with rich, oaked notes and Rhone style typicity. I guess the style can be polarizing. We've enjoyed ours, but I knew when to open them. This isn't the one to reach for to go with those oysters.

December 16, 2013 - If I was blinded, would've guessed oaky buttery chard-no prob for me as I'm occasionally a fan of that style. Not that I've had a lot of Rhone white blends, but not what I expected.
