April 1, 2006 - Very nice Chard from Wes Hagen. Pear, pear, pear. NIce crisp acidity and minerality. No oak profile. Nice with crab legs.

March 1, 2006 - Fat Tuesday at the Haggis House: Who would have thought that a California Chardonnay would be my favorite white of the night. I liked this better than the Fevre Chablis. I thought had more going on and had better balance. Dry with a steely character. Anwar brought this and I think he said that it di undergo malolactic fermentation although no oak aging. Notes of crisp pear and white pepper. 91 points.
