November 30, 2014 - Still going strong 10yrs in……don't worry about the 16.4alc(!)….holds it well! Cloudy and rustic big boy Viognier here…….fresh pitted orchard fruit, as well as a little tropicalness with some grilled pineapple, alive citrus…..killer exotic white honey, hot buttered rum spice, honeysuckle/white flower florals….peach pie with hazelnut crust, little match strike. This is one to snifter! Love it!

June 27, 2013 - it was ok.....not great past its time

April 12, 2013 - Yellow urine color. Lemon dishwasher soap nose. Palate sings a cloying alcoholic viscous song of lemon curd and lemon meringue. Yuck.

May 7, 2011 - Still drinking great. it maybe shows a little over-aging but it does not get in the way of the experience. Alban produces a wonderful viognier that captures the flowery essence of the grape without the sense that you a drinking an entire bouquet. Body is firm, rich and expressive with just the right amount of acidity to keep it in balance. Very enjoyable.

February 11, 2010 - Took to the Siduri/Novy tasting with Adam Lee. Was quite the hit with the group and Spivey took the remnants home with him. Very tropical fruit nose of honeyed pineapple and mango. Palate was very rich and buttery, almost like a Cali Chard, but without any noticable oak. Plenty of fruit left and could probably last another couple of years no problem.
