May 21, 2010 - Vibrant purple. Initially seems a little closed. Beautiful aromas of cherries, strawberries and spice, pepper, and violets. Medium bodied, great weight. Flavours of red fruits, musk and spice. Elegant and savoury. Raspberries coated in pepper sitting on a line of fine tannins held together with a savoury, dark fruited backbone. Great silky mouth-feel. Needs a bit of time to fully resolve.
