April 30, 2016 - Pnp - consumed over two nights. The volcanic soil jumps out the glass on this one - love the balance of the minerality with the fruit and acid. Really strong on night one direct to the glass. Still good on night two after air pumping and returning to fridge but slightly less so.

March 14, 2014 - Tonight this effort certainly shows it best side to us. The nose is full of rich and classy fruit: red currant and cherry combined with strawberry and raspberrdy. The lovely lava tones adds to the overall complexity and together with palate puts the dot over the i. The integration and balance is stunning, yet this effort is quite flirty tonight. With a 55 second length on the finish I am utterly impressed. On the other hand I see no reason to refrain from drinking. The primary fruit is blossoming and the pleasure level is peaking right now.

December 15, 2012 - As brilliant as ever. To use a somewhat odd vocabulary this wine may be described as refreshing yet complex. Minerals, red fruit and and a nice balance between fruit and acidity permeate the overall experience. A must buy for any Pinot Noir lover who wants to experience something new but still providing the same elegance a better Pinot.

August 5, 2012 - Lots and lots of concentrated, ripe fruit on the nose with blackcurrant, cherries and red berries. Elegantly topped off with exotic spices and stony, volcanic minerals. On the palate the attack is almost overwhelmingly powerful in its focus and vivid acidity, with potent (but fine-grained) tannins and good lenght. The minerals comes in boatloads, to the verge of giving the wine a salty, savoury appearance. Excellent, and several steps up from the a'Rina.
