  November 14, 2022 - Vosne or Volnay?: Brought this for a friend. This stood out stylistically from the rest so by that reasoning I thought that this was the outlier. Had a distinct meatiness and savoury note that made me think it was a Gevrey. Had greater density and riper fruit than I expected for a 2007. Would have been interested to taste this by itself as it seemed a little foursquare and antiquated alongside the other wines.

  August 19, 2019 - Blind. Rubinrød med litt oransje, kant. Mørk frukt, kjøttaktig. Krydder, svartbær, skogbunn. Alle var på bærtur. Det ble gjettet bordeaux, musar, cabernet etc. En gjettet etterhvert PN. Var da rett på Volnay. Tobakk, svarte bær, eik, kaffe. Høy syre. tidlig 2000 tall ble gjettet. 90-91

  August 31, 2018 - Red fruit, violet, and dark chocolate on the nose, all effusive and open. Quite a bit more stuffing than your typical Volnay, the 2007 Caillerets is kept lively by a nice underlying tension and appealing minerality. Flavors of mineral-tinged red fruit linger alongside dark chocolate on the finish. A nice wine.

  August 18, 2018 - Åpnet 2 timer før konsum og drukket av Zalto burgundy. Farge: dyp rød med oransje kant som er helt lys i kanten. Aroma med fin parfyme og preg av sur-søt frukt, nype, jordbær og litt bringebær. Også ett lett grønt preg som ga kompleksitet til vinen uten å skjemme den(jeg likte en del 04'ere også). Aromaen gir assosiasjoner til en ikke alt for kraftig Barbaresco av bra kvalitet med litt alder. I munn har den mykt anslag som fort får inn en tydelig syre. Medium fylde og god friskhet som støttes av akkurat tilstrekkelig frukt. Ingen merkbar fat. Den er perfekt moden nå og vil ikke vinne på videre lagring. Bra lengde. En god 2007 rød burgund. 92+ p

  May 25, 2018 - Garnet to ruby with a small transparent edge right at the glass; few legs and very light sediment. Initially strong, very pleasant nose with some forest floor, minerality, raspberry, and cherry, as well as oak. (Tasted the next day this tended toward cranberry and plum.) First day tasted of cherry, forest floor, mineral, oak, stems, and soy, with second day again some plum and cranberry. Light to medium with bright texture; but acidity was high on day one and perhaps more so day two. Overall I preferred day one, but with another bottle I will wait a couple more years in hope that the acidity integrates to mesh better with the nose and palate. In any case, to me seems definitely a wine for food rather than to sip on its own.
