November 19, 2016 - Thought this might be getting past it but was pretty much on song.
Luscious fruits, almost dark red to black, but showing plenty of poise and charm. Nothing overly complex on the palate but generous and balanced with fine, ripe tannins. About the right time to drink I think.

August 1, 2014 - Starting to calm down, integrate and soften a bit more. Has a fleshy, full palate, velvet like finish and nice length. At this stage, doesn't have a lot of real complexity but it will age for a while yet so may come later. Very nice Pinot.

July 28, 2013 - A fuller style of pinot but still showing enough restraint which ensures it doesn't push the envelope. Dark cherries showing a little sweetness, fine tannins and creamy oak. Good depth, perhaps a little one-dimensional on the palate so thinking this might be better in another few years.

June 12, 2013 - New world PN bouquet with a lot of berries and oak flavours which is a little bit over for me. It's hot and oaky on the palate while the fruits were faded. It's a different book from Central Otage PN. Good as a food wine but can't see the value.

May 29, 2012 - What a fantasic new world pinot. Violets/roses, dark cherry, dark fruits (blackberries/plums) and herbs on the nose, with a strawberry, plum, blackberry, herb and spice palate, with maybe even a hint of meatiness. Concentrated yet balanced with fine tannins. It took some time to open up, so decant. Will live for quite a while.
