November 1, 2020 - Again a huge opportunity to drink aged wines from CA.

December 14, 2019 - I love the fact that you acquire these wines with some age. Very tasty!

May 21, 2017 - Day 1 was a lot of fruit and tannin, was ok. Day 2 was much better, more balanced and smoother. Still an abundance of black and purple fruit, minimal tannin with a moderate acid finish, possibly from some valdiguie in the blend? Did not seem like a 16+% wine.

October 25, 2012 - Not sure this tastes like a zin, but it has lots of spice. Fruit seemed low at first, though came forward with dinner of barbecue chicken. The nose seemed hot, though at 16.1% not a surprise. He thought he could taste the alcohol, she thinks there were tannins, but we agree on spice and pepper. This was a nice bottle of wine, and really held its own against dinner.
