    September 22, 2020 - Surprisingly well preserved and better than expected from this ~12 yr. old vintage. Simple notes, but lasts on palate and very low acidic bite. Wish I had more; this was the last bottle.

    December 7, 2017 - Beautiful black acidity

    Hard to believe only 7% P Syrah - still fresh and biting

    very nice nose with interesting red and black fruit
    satiny mouth feel that coated the palate without overwhelming it.
    nicely rounded and good accompaniment to the duck breast and rack of lamb we had at Russell's.
    Would buy again.

    May 4, 2014 - Ruby, dark red fruit, good acidity but not quote as structured as I would like. Some game and smoke on the nose, making it moderately complex. This is drinking well now but should peak over the next five years. I only bought one bottle of this but now I think I like this mix of grapes a bit more than the SVD syrahs. Good bones for Washington State and reminiscent of a middle level CdP.
