  April 14, 2022 - Very round and drinking well for it’s age. No sharp edges left. Not sure it needs any more time.

  November 6, 2016 - I know I reviewed this just recently. This was my last bottle. Needed a lot of time. Initially very raisin-like and heavy. Almost a port character. However, as it oxidized, contrary to my last bottle, it became exceptionally drinkable. Decant this for a few hours if you still have it. My impression is that you shouldn't wait much longer before you drink this.

  October 5, 2016 - Ok, but on the downside from what it was as I remember. Will need to drink the other bottle I have of this sooner rather than later. Still pleasant with food, but it has gained less in age than it has lost in fruit and youth.

  March 18, 2015 - Aroma of anise. Good color. Dark cherry. Black cherry fruit. Medium to big feel and finish. Bit of pepper with the cherry. Should be good with our red-sauced pasta. I do not detect it too be too tannic or bitter at all. As I just poured it and my cellar is at 52 degrees, I expect it will integrate better in an hour or two.
