  July 6, 2020 - Colour of dark honey. Initial nose has some reduction, burnt caramel notes, then with air this takes on more of a pure honey aromatic, with hints of sweet spice, maple syrup, raisin. Palate is heading sweet, but not cloying as a touch of acid and a nice kick of heat from alcohol provide lift to the creamy, honey driven taste and texture.

  August 22, 2018 - De color caoba la nariz es intensa, madura, concentrada, con toques de pasas sultanas, miel de romero, caramelo y un fondo ligeramente balsámico. En boca entra bien, untuoso, con dulzor intenso que se equilibra con los amargos y el alcohol, bastante persistente. Notable profundidad.

  August 25, 2015 - Raisin juice, sorghum, chlorine, maple sugar, like drinking flat coca cola syrup. Immensely concentrated as it should be but none of the layers or top notes of a great PX, just the richness and painful sugar. Spend a few more dollars for the Toro Albala.
