April 19, 2022 - Well past its peak. Simple lemon curd with lite overtones of green apple. None of the flintiness or petrol or acidity that I love in great Chablis. Sad, especially for a Dauvissat.

November 17, 2021 - Given my notes on previous bottle, I would say that this bottle was flawed. Muffled nose with some baked lemon, no mineralogy that I expect from a good Chablis. Very disappointing.

July 25, 2021 - Short note - lemon, honey, lanolin, oysters, red and yellow apples, medium+ acidity, high concentration, nutts, butterish medium finish. Long finish. Drink now and next 5 years, very good quality 91p

February 28, 2021 - This needed a massive amount of air to come in line and it eventually showed quite well, but it needed 2 hr plus in a decant before getting going. Once it did, the honey and stone fruit came out, with a pretty good backbone of acidity. I thoroughly enjoyed the bottle. Color was amazing. A deep golden - beautifully aged Chablis. Lovey after 2 plus hours.

December 23, 2020 - Last of 12, pnp, perfect level, spongey cork at bottom, better than last bottle, heightened colour, aged, slightly oxi but decent styyle and some Chablis zip and salinity, at best 2 years ago, drink up. Just F (17.5).

December 5, 2020 - Classic older chablis. Light golden color. Candied lemon rind and wet stones on the nose. Palate showed good acidity still with lemon, baked green apple and more wet stone. Long finish with fruit and acidity. Glad I have five more.

February 11, 2020 - 10th of 12, opened 30 minutes, perfect cork and level, heightened colour, aging palate but not oxi, clean, not as mineral as the best, slightly sweet and flabby mid palate, drink up. F (17.5)…...significant bottle variance now.

January 4, 2020 - A private lunch with friends (Restaurant De Lage Vuursche, Lage Vuursche, NL): Delicately nutty, blonde caramel, airy minerality, flowers and creamy lemon, wonderful balance between freshness and evolution, oyster shells, intense and playful, very good resonance and length.
