August 30, 2017 - This is my second and last bottle of this wine and looking back on my notes it was about the same as it was two years ago when I last tried it. Rich and well integrated. Very enjoyable.

February 16, 2015 - Got this on my first trip to Napa a few years ago. Stopped off at the winery tasting room and really liked this bottle. This was about our third winery stop of the day and I was floating. Had to walk across the street to Gott's road side for a burger to calm things down a bit. Decanted for about 2 hours. This wine has soft tannins now and a good integration of fruit and spice. It's in a good place right now. Glad I have one more bottle.

November 30, 2014 - Decanted for 4 hours, probably could have used another 4. This is a BIG wine. Rich, heavy and thick/viscous. Rich and HIGH alcohol. This wine is a touch saccharine/sugar sweet with tons of new young toasted oak. Milk chocolate, so much NAPA terroir here. Opened into lavender, almond peel, walnut skin, bramble berry and baked/cooked cherry pie, baked red raspberries and a touch of blue and purple fruit (stewed plum and blueberry). This wine was delicious albeit a touch hedonistic and a slight bit typical for what is a big bold over extracted napa cab. Touch too much residual sugar for my palate. Lacked some elegance.
