July 22, 2023 - A beautiful bottle, laden with white pepper, black cherry, black olive, licorice and beef notes. Power and balance, hand in hand.

July 16, 2023 - Not a big wine as far as Cornas goes, but the 2000 is showing fine poise and the nose alone is worth the price of admission. No hurry, but if you have a couple of bottles no harm checking in either. Re-buy? In a second.

February 28, 2022 - So juicy, sexy and warm. Still primary fruit here, but no hard edges, just pure you. Great harmony, great fruit, great balance. On day 2 & 3 this does not move much, still have years to go.

September 26, 2021 - Tasted vis-a-vis the 2001, this is richer, more smooth, more sexy, lacking just some of the eminent focus and precision, I found in 2001. People prefered this to the 2001 - but CP agreed, that 2001 is a bigger wine.

April 1, 2021 - Great Cornas Virtual Tasting (Chicagoland IL): Black cherry, licorice and roasted beef aromas, similar flavors with slightly less intensity. Rounded and softer than the other vintages, still showing wonderful balance, even if with much less concentration.
