June 12, 2021 - Turley zinfandels age beautifully. Apples, dates, figs, blueberries, pepper, licorice, and dark chocolate. Big and bold. Surprisingly big tannins. (Lots of sediment.) Flows smoothly. Ridiculously good value. I don’t know why Robert Parker wasn’t keen on this wine in his 2005 review, because it is the kind of wine I could see him scoring 95-100.

October 30, 2019 - Still has plenty of fruit (black and red). I did not pick up any pruney notes, unlike some reviewers (FWIW my bottle slumbered in professional storage for nearly all its life). Alas, I also didn't pick up much in the way of acid or tannin. The fruit was mostly sufficient to mask the alcohol. Altogether, this is a big, ripe, jam-fruited zin with plenty of flavor still, but not much structure. Some will hate it; but others may like or love it.

June 5, 2017 - Thank god I have more, this wine is young and fresh and alive. This wine was open for more tan 2.5 hours and still going strong.
