January 5, 2018 - I think it’s matured! This bottle stored for 10 yrs. and then left for dead the past 5, but I was inspired to give it a try by CALLMEACAB22 and glad I did. Pale gold in color now. I don’t get the mineral and petrol others commented on. Now it’s peach, orange, and lime with good acidity but a short, clipped finish. Very interesting and my strong urging to open if you have on hand (I see 62 in cellars)

May 20, 2017 - Purchased 2 bottles in 2006. Opened one immediately - was fantastic (should have bought more then). Just opened the second bottle - equally as fantastic. Still the right balance of fruit and acidity. WS got this right when then named it #68 of 2002!

June 11, 2012 - This New World Riesling has aged remarkably well. Apple, peach and honey, with burnt rubber petrol. Vibrant acidity and moderately sweet. Falters somewhat on the finish, but on the whole a refreshing and very enjoyable wine.

March 27, 2012 - DOA. Bottle was oxidized.

June 17, 2010 - Saved as an experiment since release. Light golden. With heavy petrol notes, white flowers and fruits, with some citrus and minerality. Still fresh to a degree with a decent core of acid and minerality, more citrus, and lots of petrol. This is a singular wine, that I can best try to explain as living somewhere between the secondary flavors of Alsace and the Rhine with regards to flavor profile. Still enjoyable if not terribly interesting. For sure on a downward slide. 87 pts.
