February 25, 2022 - Dark violet purple, almost brown…chocolate/berry bouquet
Decanted one hour. Mid mouth cherry/licorice with moderate tanins that hold for a long finish Robust and full.
Worked well with meat spinach lasagna as it opened up nicely over the evening.
Makes me realize that I’ll have to let my other amarones age some more so they become the full bodied wines I want them to be. -
