    January 17, 2024 - 3/3, screwcap.
Nose shows apple, lots of vanilla oak still, sesame, hint of chalk. Medium bodied, appley fruit, vanilla oak, touch of petillance on the palate, vibrant/crisp acids, very good length fuinish with apple and sesame. Nice enough and still going strong but the oak is still a bit dominant/clumsy to me

January 27, 2023 - This was in top shape with maturing but still lemon citrus a solid lick of vanilla, ginger and cinnamon. Full and generous mouthfeel, alcohol just a touch hotter than ideal.

Great bottle, wish I had more.

August 24, 2022 - My last bottle. No real sign of age (bravo Stelvin...). Completely balanced. Lovely acidity, not excessive. This isn't one of the loudly trumpeted vintages of HH, but it is immensely satisfying. Long and a great accompaniment for salmon. A treat.

July 27, 2022 - Dinner at D Cuisine (Chicago, IL): The reduction is controlled and somewhat dialled down; it's not the razor sharp wines of youth, and I think that age has mellowed this out quite a bit, giving it some maturing fruit notes. It feels a little weird because this still has the crazy high acidity, but the fruit tastes much older than what the acidity would suggest. Certainly much better than on release, I guess the lesson here is to age these.

October 14, 2016 - From 75cl screwcap. Oak, bright lemon acidity, dense concentrated juice and slender cool-climate verve. Alas, the fruit which balanced all this sharpness is in retreat, and – 4 years on from my first bottle – this now reminds me more of sharp Jura Savgnin than Burgundy. Drink up, with rich buttery food and this will give great pleasure; holding might be an option for real acid freaks. 90P(?)
