July 24, 2021 - 4th Saturday Group (R&D's): Blind. Currant, chocolate, sandalwood, leather and tobacco notes. Medium-bodied, with flavors of red and black fruit and chocolate. Develops blue fruit and mocha qualities as well. Nice, mature cab sauv. This had been double decanted two hours before the flight was poured. Drink in the near term.

May 9, 2020 - Youthful and vibrant, everything in balance. Black fruits, integrated tannins and a smooth, long finish. Never expected a 20 year old cab to be this fine!

November 2, 2019 - Drinking very well now with similar notes as previous tastings. Still deep color in the bowl with lots of black fruits in the nose and flavor. Blackberries, black currants, licorice, leather, and hints of coffee in the nose. Blackberries, black cherries, and black currants in the flavor. Elegant, well balanced, and full bodied with a long smooth finish.

July 2, 2017 - 2001 is one of my favorite vintages for Napa cab and this did not disappoint. Very nicely balanced fruit, tannins, and acidity make it seem lighter than it really is. Profile of dark fruit, medium plus body, and medium minus acidity. Tannins are fully resolved and little decanting needed. Drinking very well and should be for some time, but would drink in the next year or two to not miss its peak.
