January 3, 2015 - Golden yellow. Ripe and rich palate with butterscotch nuance. Excellent depth of flavor with balancing acidity. I would've guessed this a Cali Chardonnay. Only minus is that this didn't sustain or develop interest with air/time.

January 6, 2013 - It has been some time since we have had a Closson Chase Chardonnay. The style is not as much to our liking as it used to be .. the big, buttery oak style with lots of oak. But, we popped and poured, so as the bottle went on, the oak blew off a bit and let the fruit shine through. Nice acidity and beautiful fruit.
