  February 2, 2021 - Nose of dark cherries, spice, dried mint, and leather. Chocolate covered cherries on the palate with roses, kirsch, white pepper, menthol, and light acidity. Finish show dry plum, leather, cherry notes, oak, and resolved tannins. Amazing how this wine has held up! 91 points.

  January 7, 2013 - I know it may be theoretically too old and it surely needs to be consumed.
  I would say, however that this still a good bottle of wine.
  Mature, good fruit, jammy pleasant nose and good finish. Not a multi dimensional wine now but good acidity and taste.

  November 18, 2007 - Exactly what I like about Sonoma Syrah... food friendly, with some interesting subtleties, but not overly peppery, etc.
