April 12, 2024 - Dark red coloring when poured. Let breathe about 20 min. before serving. Notes of cherry, leather, chocolate, pepper. Medium bodied, smooth finish. RTD!
June 1, 2019 - PnP at a restaurant and needed 15-20 mins in the glass to open up. A feminine, nuanced wine displaying excellent balance and complexity, with medium body and acidity. Thought this might be near the end of its window, but should go another five years, and drinking splendidly now. 92+

April 28, 2016 - Some bricking, mostly translucent. Somewhat red fruited and feminine bouquet and taste profile. Suave, poised, and focused. Excellent acid, gripping, sleek and seductive mouthfeel. Likely best in seven to ten years. 92-93.
January 7, 2014 - nothing really positive to say about this wine.... monolithic, and the 1 note is not at all interesting... was hoping for something that would spark some emotion... this wine just did not deliver... it has not developed at all... a previous bottle from 4 years ago was similarly dull...
October 13, 2013 - opened one hour before consuming...notes of cherry and leather. we had it with cheeses and a duck mousse that had raisins and apricots. What a treat!!!
September 17, 2013 - Nice nose of red fruit, leather and rose. Just a hint of ripe raisin..perhaps very slightly oxidized, as this wine was purchased off the shelf recently and not sure of storage conditions. Palate was beautiful with nice structure and length. Good acidity on the back...
